Slashdot reports that 1 million $130 laptops have already been ordered for the One Laptop Per Child initiative. The laptop has a new type of display, new software, new virus protection software, new everything... And it's cheap, and it's going to change the world. Yeah, right! I just hope that they rigorously test the machine before throwing it to millions of unsuspecting children.
