Interminable!

The Cricket World Cup schedule from Tuesday on is a series of 24 matches @ one a day. Most of them will be boring slugfests like the one today between S. Africa and Australia. Only an inspired effort from Bangladesh or Ireland can save this tournament now.

A dark World Cup

Cricinfo says that Bob Woolmer, the Pakistan coach, died this morning. Very poignant, especially considering that Pakistan was knocked out of the World Cup just yesterday.
