King Kong

Anshu and I went to watch King Kong earlier today. It's a very lo...ong movie. As Anshu said, there's nothing new about the special effects - dinosaurs are commonplace now. The movie is not very funny except this one scene where the heroine does a vaudeville number for Kong. Kong's size keeps changing in different scenes in this movie - I guess the director was trying to keep all the objects of interest visible. This is a bit irritating though: you wonder how big Kong really is. Peter Jackson uses some audio tricks he used in LOTR: the whispering voices of Nazguls were used in this movie for the tribal folks (or was it for the dinosaurs, one or the other).
